Minimum transfer: 1,000 Bilt points

You can't transfer less than 1,000, and transfers must be in increments of 1,000.

This transfer pair is marked instant and typically posts within seconds to a few minutes. Even so, occasional system delays happen — wait until you see the points in your destination account before doing anything else. These are typical times, not guarantees — always confirm award space first because transfers can't be reversed.

Cancellation: cancellation has a fee

€25 fee on Iberia-operated flights only. Partner awards (AA, BA, JAL) forfeit all Avios — only taxes refunded. Major footgun.

Points expiration

Bilt: Bilt Points expire after 24 months of account inactivity. Any earn or redeem resets the clock.
Iberia Avios: Iberia Plus Avios expire after 36 months of no activity. Note: Avios in BA/Iberia/Qatar/Aer Lingus pools sync, so activity in one program protects the others — but the pools must be linked.

Open the Bilt app and tap Travel
Sign in to the Bilt app (or biltrewards.com). In the top navigation, tap the Travel tab — the airplane icon.

Switch to Transfer and tap Link & transfer
On the Travel screen, switch from "Book" to "Transfer". A "Transfer to travel programs" card pops up — tap Link & transfer.

Pick Iberia Avios from the partner grid
Scroll the partner tiles to Iberia Avios — the ratio is 1:1 — and tap Transfer on its tile. If this is your first transfer to Iberia Avios, you'll be prompted to link your account by entering your member number and the name on your Iberia Avios profile.

Enter the amount and tap Transfer points
Type how many Bilt Points to move (1,000-point minimum, 1,000-point increments). Confirm the linked Iberia Avios account is correct, then tap Transfer points. Bilt transfers usually post within minutes — but always confirm award availability on Iberia Avios.com first because transfers are final.
