You can't transfer less than 1,000, and transfers must be in increments of 1,000.
Up to 48 hours, sometimes more
Amex MR transfers to this specific partner aren't instant. Most post within 24–48 hours, but slower pairs can take 3–5 business days. These are typical times, not guarantees — always confirm award space first because transfers can't be reversed.
Cancellation: cancellation has a fee
3,000-mile cancellation fee deducted from refund (Diamond elites exempt).
Fee: 3,000 milesWindow: Anytime pre-departureTaxes: Refunded minus fee
Points expiration
Amex MR: Membership Rewards points never expire as long as you have at least one Amex card open and in good standing.
ANA Mileage Club: ANA miles expire 36 months from the end of the month they're earned. Hard expiration — no extension regardless of activity. Diamond/Platinum members exempt.
Heads up: your Amex MR points don't expire, but ANA Mileage Club points (after transfer) do.
