You can't transfer less than 3,000, and transfers must be in increments of 1,000. Transfer in 60,000-point blocks to capture the 5,000-mile bonus (60K Bonvoy → 25K miles).

Points expiration
Marriott Bonvoy: Bonvoy points expire after 24 months without any account activity. A single earn (including from a co-brand card swipe) or redemption resets the clock.
ANA Mileage Club: ANA miles expire 36 months from the end of the month they're earned. Hard expiration — no extension regardless of activity. Diamond/Platinum members exempt.

- 1Open Marriott Bonvoy → How to Use Points / AwardsSign in to marriott.com and hover the Marriott Bonvoy tab in the top navigation. In the dropdown, click "How to Use Points / Awards".
- 2Scroll to "Watch Your Points Take Off" and click Transfer PointsScroll down past the rewards overview to the "Watch Your Points Take Off" section. Read the rules — Marriott transfers in 3:1 blocks, but every 60,000 Bonvoy points earns a 5,000-mile bonus, making the effective rate ~2.4:1. Click the Transfer Points button.
- 3Click View All Airline PartnersThe Transfer Points to Partners page shows three featured partners. Skip those and click "View All Airline Partners" below to see the full list including ANA Mileage Club.
- 4Pick ANA Mileage Club, enter your member number and amountOn the Transfer Your Points form: choose ANA Mileage Club in the Frequent Flyer Program dropdown, type your ANA Mileage Club member number, then enter the Bonvoy points to transfer. Minimum is 3,000 points. To capture the 5K bonus, transfer in 60,000-point increments — you'll get 25,000 miles per 60K (20K base + 5K bonus). The name on your ANA Mileage Club account must EXACTLY match your Marriott Bonvoy name.
